A CPA Board Exam placer, our Chairman’s work experience extends over at least 22 years with BPI Family Bank where he has headed various units including the area of Systems and Control. Mr. Villaflor brings with him acquired US and Asian programs of training particularly for Data Processing Installation, Data Base Administration and Automated Systems for Credit and Leasing.

Our President proudly hails from the former Far East Bank and Trust Company (FEBTC). Her 20 years of being part of the renowned financial institution include extensive and thorough seasoning in Trust Banking Operations, membership with the bank’s Investment Committee as well as Headship of the Portfolio Management Department. After FEBTC’s merger with the Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI), Ms. Lagmay further enriched her Trust Banking expertise with BPI’s Trust Department prior to her joining RGFS.

Our IT Head’s academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Statistics, a Masters of Engineering in Computer Science, plus at least thirty years of work experience in the area of systems planning, development, analysis and management. A great portion of her experience was gained from her oversight and likewise hands-on roles as manager and senior officer at Philamlife - an affiliate of the American International Group (AIG). Ultimately, it can be noted that Mrs. Martin’s expertise is in the formulation and implementation of technology-enabled systems and process improvements toward cost-efficiency.

A Japanese national whose business exposure extends to the continents of North America and Asia, Mr. Arita’s work experience covers portfolio management and specialization in securities with corporations, the likes of which include The Mitsui Trust Banking Co., Ltd in Japan, The Nomura Securities Co., Ltd. in New York as well as in Tokyo, Nomura Epic Management in Hong Kong and RG Asset Management in both Singapore and Hong Kong.

Mr. Ibanez is an equity derivative specialist with extensive experience in global markets and companies the likes of which include Bankers Trust New York. His credentials as Fund Manager arise from his involvement with Nomura Epic Management in Hongkong. Currently he is also President and CEO of RG Financial Services Limited in Hongkong. Comprising the academic achievements of Mr.Ibanez are a B.S., an M.S. as well as a Ph.D. in Nuclear Engineering from the Tokyo Institute of Technology.

Dr. Benny Pacheco is a licensed professional civil-structural engineer both in the Philippines and in the State of New York. His certification coverage as a specialist in the field includes the Philippines, the ASEAN as well as APEC. Ms. Fernandez’s work record has likewise been gained from having been a part of FEBTC. Her 13 years with the bank had built for her a solid training, exposure and experience in the area of Trust Banking Operations Accounting as well as Financial Statement Reporting. Before joining RGFS her work experience included a stint with BPI Trust Operations. Ms. Fernandez is our specialist in Fund Accounting, Net Asset Value Calculation for Managed Funds, Pension and Employee Benefit Fund Administration along with Loan Administration Services and Financial Statement preparation.

Ms. Bunao handles for RGFS the middle and back office requirements of the offshore funds management operations of accounts coming in from Hongkong. Prior to her current designation, she had also worked with FEBTC, BPI and Keppel Bank, Phils. (later known as GE Money Bank which eventually was absorbed by BDO Unibank). Ms. Bunao’s work experience with the aforesaid institutions covered the activities of Trust Banking Products marketing, Personal Wealth Management including Portfolio Management and Compliance.

Now designated as RGFS’ IT Officer, Mr. Sarreal carries 16 years experience in the banking industry as Project Manager for Trust and Wholesale Banking Systems starting with the aforementioned Far East Bank and Trust Company, then onto Bank of the Philippine Islands, afterwards Equitable PCI Bank (EPCIB) and then later Banco de Oro. The projects he became part of included a Common Trust Fund (CTF) System, Maintenance of a Static Website, Lotus Notes Applications for Human Resources, Upgrade of Treasury System and the Deployment of an Anti-Money Laundering Reporting System. In his capacity as an IT compliance officer, Mr. Sarreal managed the deliverables of the various IT units within the banks in compliance with regulatory agencies.
